The Bank has finally cleared the cheque!
If I had known that it would take this long, I would have waited a couple of days until the Monday and put it in a local Santander Branch, it would have been much quicker.
It is a comforting feeling seeing a balance with 3 figures. Sadly, I know that my monthly outgoings are going to happily chomp their way through it all in a very short time indeed. At least I shall be able to pay some of my bills.
A day of joy tinged with sobering reality.
